When the producers of the inaugural Sacred Road Festival asked if I would design some merch for the event I jumped at the opportunity. Initially asked to deliver two designs, I sent over four concept sketches and they quickly asked if I could fully develop all of them. This design shown here is a play on the Grateful Dead’s Europe ‘72 “Ice Cream Kid” character.

This design shown here is a play on the Grateful Dead’s American Beauty album cover illustration and became one of the hottest selling shirt/hoodie designs at the festival.

This design shown here is based on a peacock element used in the branding assets package. I added a little psychedelic treatment and put him on a lotus-esque sacred rose.

This design shown here is something I titled “Mouth Party” and got a little weird with it.
The original “Assbites from Hell” were formed by Big Steve Parish (and named by Bobby Weir) and the other Grateful Dead roadies some 40 years ago. Well, Steve gathered some new friends along for their new debut at Skull & Roses in Ventura, CA in the summer of 2022.
Big Steve came to me with the idea of revamping an old Trichromes design and I attempted to add a little touch of awesome to it. Haha! Always a hoot!
The good people at Hulaween in Suwannee, FL hit me up to create two official merch designs for their 2021 event. From what I hear they sold out pretty quick.

The Rumpke Mountain Boys asked me to come up with an illustration they could use for their spring/summer tour merchandise line. I used their four intertwined instruments to frame a new landscape logo I’d already created for them. I also provided a few colorways for daytime and sunset options.
Beloved Nashville group Lady Couch wanted something bright and melty to catch peoples’ eye. Originally just a sticker design for handing out at the door, this illustration now exists on koozies, shirts, and more.
Banjo mercenary Kyle Tuttle hit me up to create the album art for his ‘Live in 2020’ release. True to his nature, he asked me to get a little weird with it. I had a blast creating strange punk/bluegrass creatures who were right at home listening to Kyle’s picking.
